Can a phone call replace your Doctor's visit? major trial tests remote care for brain tumors

NCT ID NCT06297473

Summary

This study aims to find out if yearly check-ups by phone or video are as safe as in-person visits for people with stable, non-functioning pituitary tumors. Over 800 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either remote or in-person follow-up care for two years. The main goal is to see if remote care leads to the same low risk of serious health problems, like adrenal crisis, while also testing if fewer blood tests are needed.
