Remote hearing care could save time and money for implant users
NCT ID NCT05552118
Summary
This study compares two ways of managing cochlear implants during the first year after activation. It tests whether remote check-ups using a smartphone work as well as standard in-person clinic visits for improving hearing and user satisfaction. Researchers will measure hearing ability, speech recognition, and track the time and costs involved with both care approaches.
