Video calls aim to stop toddler tantrums before they start

NCT ID NCT04594902

Summary

This study tests whether a remote parenting program can prevent behavior problems in infants from high-risk families. Families with 12- to 18-month-olds showing early signs of behavior issues receive six video-call sessions of either a specialized infant behavior program or standard parenting advice. Researchers measure if the program reduces tantrums and improves child regulation over a year.
