First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested whether using a smartphone app and virtual doctor visits can help people with chronic pain get better relief and lower healthcare costs. 32 adults with long-term pain who use a spinal cord stimulator were monitored either in-person or remotely for six months. The goal was to see if remote care works as well as in-person visits for pain control and quality of life.
