First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tested whether a mobile app (myFSHD) can help doctors remotely monitor people with Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). Seventy adults with FSHD used the app for 12 months to report symptoms and record videos of exercises. The goal was to see if remote monitoring is feasible and reliable, which could make future clinical trials easier and more patient-friendly.
