First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app called MyDerm can help patients with long-lasting leg wounds monitor their condition from home. 25 adults with a single chronic wound used the app to take photos and answer questions about complications. After two months, researchers measured patient and caregiver satisfaction to see if this remote approach works in everyday life.
