Wearable tech could send Weight-Loss surgery patients home same day
NCT ID NCT07483775
Summary
This study is testing if patients can safely go home the same day they have gastric bypass surgery, instead of staying in the hospital. Patients will wear devices that monitor their vital signs from home, and a care team will check on them remotely. The goal is to see if this approach is practical, safe, and cost-effective while freeing up hospital beds.
