No more dental visits? app may keep teeth straight after braces

NCT ID NCT05006339

First seen May 09, 2026 ยท Last updated May 09, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether using a smartphone app with artificial intelligence to monitor your teeth from home can keep them straighter after braces, compared to going to the dentist for checkups. About 82 people who have finished orthodontic treatment will use either the app or standard in-office visits. The goal is to see which method better prevents teeth from shifting back.
