Surgery patients sent home early, monitored by video call in new pilot
NCT ID NCT06881602
Summary
This study is testing if it's safe and practical to send patients home sooner after robotic pancreas surgery, followed by remote monitoring. For 10 days after going home, patients will have daily video calls with a nurse and use wearable devices to track their health. The main goal is to see if this approach can safely reduce hospital stays while keeping patients safe at home.
