Summary
This trial tests whether repeatedly inflating a blood pressure cuff on the upper arms to 200 mmHg for short cycles can trigger protective molecular changes in the blood of healthy adults aged 18 to 45. Participants are randomly assigned to receive the cuff cycles either once or twice daily for 40 minutes. Researchers will measure changes in cardiovascular-related molecules and blood pressure to explore how this simple physical stimulus might protect the heart and blood vessels.
