First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether remote ischemic conditioning (brief cycles of tightening and releasing a blood pressure cuff on a limb) combined with balance training can improve spinal reflexes and balance in children with cerebral palsy. Sixteen children aged 8-17 with mild to moderate CP will participate. The goal is to see if this simple, non-invasive approach can help reduce spasticity and improve movement control.
