Tablets instead of trips: remote care trial for blood clot patients
NCT ID NCT05684770
Summary
This study is testing whether remote care using tablets can help manage patients with low-risk blood clots. Fifty patients will use 4G tablets to complete questionnaires, learn about their medications, and have remote consultations with doctors. Researchers want to see if this approach improves communication between healthcare providers and patients while maintaining good treatment results.
