Summary
This small pilot study tested a new remote care system for people with high blood pressure. Twenty participants used a smartphone app to record their blood pressure at home. Doctors then used this data to remotely adjust their medication dose over 12 weeks to see if it helped them reach a healthy blood pressure goal.
