Cash for sobriety? phone breathalyzer trial tests new way to fight relapse

NCT ID NCT03942770

Summary

This study is testing if adding a remote support program helps people stay sober after leaving alcohol detox. Participants who recently finished detox use a smartphone app and a breathalyzer to prove they are not drinking. Some may earn small cash rewards for staying alcohol-free, to see if this extra support improves their recovery compared to standard care alone.
