Summary

This study is testing whether a smartphone app and a connected breathalyzer can help people with alcohol use disorder stay sober. Participants use the system to remotely prove they haven't been drinking and can earn money for staying alcohol-free. The goal is to make a proven treatment—paying people to stay sober—more accessible, especially for underserved groups who struggle to get help.
