Summary

This study aims to understand how two different anesthesia drugs affect blood flow to the brain when a patient is put to sleep for surgery. It will enroll 40 adults having elective surgery. Researchers will compare a newer drug called remimazolam against the commonly used drug propofol, measuring blood flow in a major brain artery to see if one helps maintain better oxygen supply.
