Summary
This study compares two sedatives—remimazolam and midazolam—for colonoscopy in 200 adults with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's or colitis). The goal is to see if remimazolam leads to similar or better patient satisfaction and faster recovery. Participants receive one of the two drugs plus fentanyl during their procedure and fill out a satisfaction survey afterward.
