NCT ID NCT06237101
First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether the opioid remifentanil helps the anesthetic propofol cause a deep brain state called burst suppression. Twenty adults having elective surgery will receive both drugs, and their brain waves will be recorded. The goal is to understand how these medicines interact, which could help anesthesiologists use them more precisely.
