New pill aims to tame debilitating heavy periods

Summary
This study is testing whether a daily pill called relugolix can safely reduce heavy menstrual bleeding in women who have uterine fibroids. About 120 participants will take either the real pill or a placebo (a dummy pill) for 12 weeks to see which one works better. The main goal is to see if the treatment can significantly decrease menstrual blood loss.
