New daily pill aims to curb heavy periods from fibroids

Summary
This study tests whether a daily pill called relugolix can safely reduce heavy menstrual bleeding in women with uterine fibroids. About 120 premenopausal women will receive either the drug or a placebo for several weeks. The main goal is to see if bleeding drops to a normal level or decreases by at least half.
