Laser touch-up may sharpen blurry vision after cataract surgery

NCT ID NCT04712318

First seen Jul 29, 2026 · Last updated Jul 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This trial tests whether a laser procedure called Relex-Smile can correct leftover nearsightedness or farsightedness in people who had cataract surgery six months earlier. About 130 participants with blurry vision after receiving a trifocal lens implant will undergo the laser treatment. The goal is to see if the procedure safely improves visual sharpness and reduces the need for glasses.
