Summary
This study tested whether a simple, non-drug relaxation exercise program could help women with high-risk pregnancies. Researchers taught 30 hospitalized pregnant women progressive relaxation techniques and asked them to practice at home for four weeks. They measured whether this program improved the women's sleep quality and reduced their feelings of anxiety and stress.
