Can relaxing your muscles help lower your blood pressure?

NCT ID NCT06997445

Summary

This study tested whether combining a muscle relaxation technique with regular aerobic exercise works better than exercise alone to help control early-stage high blood pressure. Researchers worked with 40 adults aged 18-45 who had mild hypertension. They compared blood pressure, heart rate, and quality of life between a group doing just exercise and a group doing both relaxation and exercise over four weeks.
