Healing hands? study tests reiki for heart test recovery
NCT ID NCT07193784
Summary
This study looked at whether Reiki, a hands-on energy therapy, could help people feel better after a common heart test called coronary angiography. Researchers tested if Reiki could reduce pain and increase comfort compared to a fake treatment or standard care alone. They measured pain and comfort levels in 85 adults who had the test for the first time.
