Healing hands trial: can reiki ease the agony of knee surgery?
NCT ID NCT07442435
Summary
This study is testing whether Reiki, a gentle hands-on energy therapy, can help people recover better from knee replacement surgery. Researchers will compare 90 patients who receive Reiki sessions after surgery to those who get standard care alone. They will measure pain levels, how well patients can move, and vital signs in the first three days after the operation.
