New recovery plan tested to get ICU survivors home sooner
NCT ID NCT06159868
Summary
This study tested whether a combined program of personalized physiotherapy and optimized nutrition, started right after leaving intensive care, is practical and acceptable for patients and staff. It involved 60 adult patients who needed ongoing rehab after a serious illness. The goal was to see if this approach could help people spend more days alive and out of the hospital, and to prepare for a larger future trial.
