First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested a home-based cognitive training program for 29 veterans aged 65 and older who had a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and trouble with attention, planning, and memory. The program used telehealth technology to deliver exercises aimed at improving daily functioning. Researchers measured changes in attention, mood, and everyday abilities to see if the approach could help veterans manage cognitive symptoms without needing to travel to a clinic.
