New hope to slow aggressive bone cancers

NCT ID NCT02389244

Summary

This study is testing whether a drug called regorafenib can help control the growth of advanced bone sarcomas that have spread to other parts of the body. It involves 163 patients with specific types of bone cancer who have already tried other treatments. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the study drug or a placebo pill, along with standard supportive care, to see if regorafenib can delay cancer progression.
