New drug combo tested in fight against Tough-to-Treat bile duct cancer
NCT ID NCT02386397
Summary
This study tested a combination of two treatments—a drug called regorafenib and a modified chemotherapy regimen (mGEMOX)—for people with advanced bile duct cancer that could not be cured by surgery. The main goals were to find a safe dose of the drug combination and to see how well it worked at controlling the cancer. It involved 66 adult patients who had not received prior chemotherapy for their advanced disease.
