First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 50 adults having shoulder arthroscopy to compare regional anesthesia (keeping you awake) with general anesthesia (being fully asleep). The goal was to see which method leads to less pain after surgery and higher satisfaction for both patients and surgeons. Results could help guide anesthesia choices for better recovery and fewer side effects.
