New dental procedure aims to save Kids' teeth from root decay
NCT ID NCT07355686
Summary
This study tested two methods to treat infected, immature permanent teeth in children and teenagers aged 8-15. The goal was to heal the infection and encourage the tooth's root to continue growing and thickening. Researchers compared a technique using the patient's own blood clot to one using a concentrated platelet gel, measuring changes in root structure and infection size.
