Dental study: one visit may be enough for infected tooth treatment
NCT ID NCT07480226
First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special dental treatment for infected mature teeth (regenerative endodontic treatment) works better in one visit or two. 32 adults with a single infected front tooth were treated and tracked their pain for a week, then had X-rays at 6 months and 1 year to check healing. The goal was to see if one visit causes less pain and still leads to good healing.
