Lab-Grown ligament aims to heal torn knees without taking your own tendons

NCT ID NCT07129694

Summary

This study is testing a new, lab-made ligament called CT-ACL001 for repairing a torn ACL in the knee. It will compare this new device to the standard surgery, which uses a tendon taken from the patient's own leg. The main goal is to see if the new ligament works as well for recovery and causes fewer problems at the site where tendons are usually taken.
