First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding electroacupuncture and ear acupoint pressing beans to a standard opioid painkiller can better relieve severe cancer pain that doesn't respond to usual treatments. About 30 adults with refractory cancer pain will receive the combination for two weeks. The goal is to see if this approach improves pain scores and reduces the amount of pain medication needed.
