First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether reformer pilates helps people recover better than standard physiotherapy after femoral lengthening surgery (a procedure to make the thigh bone longer). Thirty men who had the surgery for cosmetic reasons took part. Researchers measured muscle strength, flexibility, range of motion, reaction time, daily living activities, and pain to see which approach worked best.
