Can a foot massage calm labor fears? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07168187
Summary
This study is testing whether reflexology, a type of foot massage therapy, can help reduce anxiety, pain, and stress for women who are having their labor medically started using a cervical balloon. Researchers will compare 84 women who receive reflexology after the balloon is placed to a similar group who receive standard care without reflexology. The main goal is to see if the therapy makes the induction process easier and more comfortable for mothers.
