First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at 437 adult patients during stable parts of surgery to find normal values for a measurement called total arterial impedance (Ztot). This measurement helps doctors understand how hard the heart has to work to pump blood through the arteries. The goal is to give doctors a better idea of what is normal, so they can spot problems more easily in the future.
