Summary

This study is adapting an online parenting program called Family Check-Up for Latinx families to help prevent substance use in youth aged 11-14. Researchers will work with 108 families and community health workers to test whether a culturally tailored version works better than a simple translation. The goal is to improve parenting skills and cultural connection to reduce teens' risk of using drugs or alcohol.
