Text message after ER visit aims to cut future crowding
NCT ID NCT07185828
Summary
This study aims to reduce unnecessary return visits to the emergency room. Researchers will send text messages to patients after they are discharged from the ER for a minor issue. The messages will encourage them to see their regular doctor or use an online symptom checker instead of returning to the ER, to see if this guidance changes their future healthcare choices.
