Summary
This study tested if giving pregnant women extra ultrasounds and health education during checkups could reduce the number of unnecessary C-sections in Bangladesh. 288 pregnant women from urban and rural hospitals took part. The goal was to see if these extra services help women avoid C-sections that are not medically needed.
