Summary

This study looks at whether adding dexamethasone, dexmedetomidine, or both to a numbing shot for arm surgery can prevent a sudden, intense pain when the numbness wears off. About 75 adults having arm surgery will be randomly assigned to one of three groups. The goal is to find the best way to reduce this rebound pain and improve recovery.
