Brain monitor tested to ease Kids' Post-Surgery sickness

NCT ID NCT07299435

Summary

This study aims to see if using a special brain monitor during anesthesia, along with a common steroid, can reduce nausea, vomiting, and confusion in children after tonsil surgery. It will involve about 1508 children aged 2 to 8 years old. The research compares this combined approach to using the steroid alone to find the best way to improve recovery.
