New rehab tackles fear of movement after shoulder dislocation surgery

Summary

This study tests a new rehabilitation program designed to reduce kinesiophobia (fear of movement) in people who have had shoulder stabilization surgery after a dislocation. About 52 adults aged 18-67 will be randomly assigned to either the new program or standard rehab. The goal is to see if addressing psychological fears improves shoulder function and quality of life.
