Summary

This study tests whether adding neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) to a balance and strength program can improve hip muscle strength and reduce fall risk in older veterans. About 81 veterans aged 55 and older who are at risk for falls will participate. The goal is to see if this approach helps them maintain balance and avoid dangerous falls.
