NCT ID NCT06818825

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looked at people who visit the emergency room (ER) very often. After an ER visit, some received a phone call from a health worker and others got a text-based chatbot message offering help finding other ways to manage their health. The goal was to see if these messages could reduce future ER visits. Over 1,100 people took part, and researchers compared how often each group returned to the ER.
