Fight against superbugs: new plan to stop unnecessary antibiotics for kids

NCT ID NCT07217002

Summary

This project aims to reduce unnecessary antibiotic use for common childhood infections like earaches, strep throat, sinus infections, and pneumonia. It will provide education, feedback, and tools to doctors and nurses across a large children's hospital network to help them prescribe the right antibiotic, at the right strength, for the right amount of time. The goal is to protect children from side effects and help keep antibiotics effective for future infections.
