Moms get a say in C-Section pain relief in new study

NCT ID NCT07476482

Summary

This study aims to see if involving pregnant women in planning their pain management can reduce pain experienced during a planned cesarean delivery (C-section) under spinal anesthesia. Researchers will compare a structured planning session with standard care for 80 women. The goal is to improve the mother's experience and potentially reduce negative psychological outcomes linked to surgery pain.
