First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests if a single dose of tranexamic acid (TXA), a drug that helps blood clot, can reduce blood loss during urethral reconstruction surgery. Forty adults having this surgery will be randomly assigned to receive TXA or standard care. Researchers will compare changes in hemoglobin levels and other outcomes to see if TXA makes the surgery safer.
