Summary
This study tested whether a special counseling method could help mothers of premature babies feel less anxious. Researchers worked with 40 first-time mothers whose babies were in intensive care. The counseling involved eight short conversations focused on finding solutions, which helped mothers feel less worried and more confident in caring for their babies.
