Summary

This study tested a program for college women aged 18–24 who had experienced sexual assault and were drinking heavily. The program combined individual and group sessions to reduce alcohol use, sexual distress, and risk of another assault. 86 women took part, and the program was compared to a waitlist group. The goal was to see if the program was practical and helpful at 2 and 4 months after completion.
